Update from July 12, 2025

Clay and I are so excited for our upcoming wedding in Asheville, but we received unfortunate news regarding our Charlotte reception venue.

We are devastated to announce the cancellation of our event on August 23, 2025, due to legal issues that the venue is facing.

We were looking forward to reuniting with many of you and debuting for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Holfield in the location where our love story began. Thank you to those who have shared their excitement for us and have wished us well. We thank you for taking the time to appreciate the invitations I designed and for submitting RSVPs ahead of our deadline. Your excitement for everything will remain a bright spot amidst the misfortune of changing circumstances.

Don’t worry - we are keeping our heads up. No obstacle or situation will change the excitement we have for our upcoming wedding. Every day is a good day as long as we have each other!

Clay and I have many years of fantastic memories together at Salud, and we will cherish them forever. We appreciate your understanding of the unexpected cancellation.
